For those that took an “L” like myself on Kawsone the other day, looks like we may have another chance.

Regarding the GONE release, I was really disappointed to hear about all the bots on KAWSONE and decided to do something about it. Congratulations to all the actual people who were able to get through. Everyone else stay tuned. In the meantime, We are putting in overtime on the cancel order button. Going forward if we identify someone is using a bot to purchase something from KAWSONE we will block them from all future orders.

For those Kaws fans living in Fort Worth Texas, make sure to head down to the Modern Art Museum Of Forth Worth to try to get your hand on some Clean Slate pieces for retail. Not sure on how much stock is left since they announced it yesterday, but they mentioned on having all 3 colorways and still no confirmation of them being sold out. So thats a good sign! So Gooooooooooo!.

Jonathan Levine Projects will be selling a certain amount of Beautiful Losers posters on their website tomorrow at noon. Word is price tag will be around $450. Its a pretty price bump from last yrs release on the Beautiful Losers app which was sold for $200.00. I believe this poster was sold for $30 when they 1st released it. Good luck to those that are looking to purchase the poster.

KAWS EFFECTS: CHARACTER DESIGN Summer Camp
KAWS EFFECTS: CHARACTER DESIGN Summer Camp

For two fantastic, high energy weeks in the summer, artistically driven Detroit area middle school students interact with the work of KAWS, to design and create their own characters!  KAWS is one of the most influential artists of his generation. Led by teaching artists experienced in illustration and product design, camp begins with youth touring and interpreting KAWS’ work on display at MOCAD.  Drawing inspiration from these works, youth design characters based on themselves, utilizing basic illustration techniques.

Later, those illustrations come to life as youth translate their 2-D drawings into 3-D forms, using a variety of materials.  Aside from working with positive teaching artists, campers will play games, enjoy outdoor activities, and make new friends during this exciting midsummer fun experience at MOCAD. Scholarships are available. All meals and snacks provided free of additional charge. - MOCA Detroit
